Wine Tasting Party
I’ve been working on the most darling project lately and am thrilled to finally share it with you! If you’ve followed along for a while you probably know I am a lover of wine. I recently enjoyed a fun ladies night filled with lots of great wines, food and fellowship. We had such a lovely time. So, ahead of my upcoming Birthday, I am going to gift you the printable templates and provide you with some inspiration on how to host your own night with a small group of friends!
Instructions:
Choose a wine type that you’d like to focus on for the tasting. Tell each friend to bring 1-2 bottles in that category (depending upon how many you’d like to taste and how many people are attending). Feel free to have a prize for the winner and the loser- this can also be a new bottle of wine.
Prior to your guests arrival, have your bags labeled and have a notepad ready to record what wine arrives to pair with your numbered bags.
As they arrive you will discretely pair each bottle with it’s assigned number (I would sneak off to another room for this) and tie it up with a ribbon. The bag will already have the numbered label (to match your notepad assigned number for that specific wine).
Be sure to explain the details before beginning. As you taste, guests will rank each wine tasted on a scale of 1-5 for each category. I suggest everyone takes notes, as this helps you remember the wines.
At the end you will add up each category to get the total score of the specific bottle. There should be a winner and a loser- I suggest giving both a gift to keep things fun! Enjoy!
