Watermelon Margaritas

One of my most favorite restaurants makes a delicious watermelon margarita. I love enjoying them on their patio throughout the summer. Unfortunately, they are still closed for dine-in, so I’ve decided to make my own. We are in the thick of summer, and this is a great cure for the humid heat!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups red seedless watermelon cubed

  • 1 cup fresh limeade

  • 1/2 cup of tequila or to taste

  • Lime Wedges and Water Melon Wedges

  • Sea Salt for Rim

Instructions:

  1. Combine Watermelon, Limeade and Tequila into blinder. Pulse 5-6 times or until bubbly and smooth. I used a seedless watermelon and was not bothered by the seeds, but you may want to strain yours, to taste.

  2. Set Mixture in freezer for 30 minutes.

  3. Prep Glasses by salting the rim. Put your salt into a shallow bowl. Run a sliced lime over the top of the rim and then dip the rim into the salt plate.

  4. Place Lime Wedge and Watermelon Wedge.

  5. Pour in your blender contents. Enjoy!
