Pecan Dusted Cheese Spread

While we were at the lake for The 4th of July, our friends had the best appetizer layered into a cheese board. I came home craving it the very next week. I’ve recreated the spread with my own twist!! Have you ever had pecan dust? … If not, I highly recommend you add it into your life, starting with my Pecan Dusted Cheese Spread!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Smoked Gouda (finely grated)

  • 1 Cup Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese (finely grated)

  • 1 Cup Sharp Yellow Cheddar Cheese (grated normally)

  • 1/4 Cup of Mayonnaise

  • 2 Teaspoons Chili Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar

  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic

  • 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Pecans

  • 3 Tablespoons Sliced Green Onion (2 for mixture and 1 for topping)

  • 1 Tablespoon Pecan Dust

Instructions:

  1. Begin by prepping all ingredients.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all three cheeses, mix well.

  3. Next, add in remaining mixture ingredients, mix well.

  4. Once everything is fully combined, spoon into your serving container.

  5. Lastly, you will use a microplane grater and grate pecan dust on top. Add sliced green onions and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
